TRIBE ISLANDS FIRST KARAOKE NIGHT!!!!

For those of you who attended Tribe's first Karaoke Night at The Deck, you got to enjoy a real treat! Think double scoops of ice cream topped with the yummiest of chocolate suace, whipped cream and a cherry on top! For those of you who weren't able to attend, you missed something really special! We never realized just how much talent resided within the Tribe Community!

The night began with Rai Blaylock taking center stage and getting everyone in the mood and warmed up! We heard from several Tribe natives...including the one and only.....Driftwood Miles! For those of you who are wondering, I was urged to get up and sing, but only by those of you who have never heard me actually sing! Fortunately for EVERYONE, I politely but adamantly declined. For those of you who didn't make this karaoke, never fear!!! I looked in the crystal ball and I see KARAOKE in the future!!! Or maybe it was that last glass of wine I had!

Thanks to everyone who made the night so super special! You guys were all THE best!

YOU DON'T HAVE TO FIGHT FOR THE RIGHT TO PARTY!!!

Hey, all you party people!!!! Yes, YOU!!! Those who like to come to parties…those who like to plan parties…even those of you who like to BE the party….here’s a bit of a news!!! The Deck at Kai is open for all Tribe Natives for your own get-togethers, your sis’s graduation or even an IMPROMPTU party!!!!! Next time you are looking for some fun, or just want to hang out with your friends and neighbors, contact me to see if The Deck is available and GO FOR IT!

Psssssttttttt… One of our loveliest of lovely Tribe natives whispered in my ear that she MIGHT just have one of those impromptu dance parties this weekend at The Deck! Be on the look out…..fun times ahead at THE DECK!

MAYHEM MUSIC & MACHINIMA!!!!!

This Friday Night we have a REAL treat for everyone!!!!

First of all we have the first viewing of the Tribe Machinima film which so many of you took part in…and we are Hugely happy with the results….so a big thank you to Ariella, Director and Producer extrordinnaire !!!

The “premier” will be @ 2:45 Sharp on The Deck!!

But it doesn’t end there…….right after everyone has had a good look at the movie…we have…....taking to the stage an awesome musician who goes by the name of:

Dominick Manatiso

Now , as many of you may or may not know I am from Scotland, and as such was not brought up on Western Country Music (porridge yes! country, no!)…and as such could never be accused of being a fan. BUT this guy put such a smile on my face when we came across one of his performances recently that my previously skewed image of country was put bang to rights!!! He is a great singer (pop rock & country)…he is fun…in fact he is simply a great all round entertainer…and we are proud to have him play at Tribe!! I honestly implore you not to miss out.
