TRICK or TREAT?

I was out buying my annual Halloween candy today... and I always have such a hard time finding the PERFECT candies. After all, I want to be the most POPULAR candy giver in the neighborhood! It got me to thinking: how does everyone else around the world celebrate Halloween? It's HUGE here in the United States. I read a statistic that was staggering! Over 21 million dollars is spent on Halloween candy every year! Halloween is the holiday with the 3rd largest number of parties annually next to Christmas and New Year's Eve. So come on, enlighten me, how do YOU celebrate Halloween?

I saw this video the other day for the first time and was amazed at how the numbers add up. To think, here we are in 2009 and there are still children going hungry. You do the Math and see how easy the solution REALLY is. Something to think about.

Philip Linden's BIG ADVENTURE!

The news rolled out late last night that Philip Linden is starting a new company!! Philip stated, " It's a big idea - something that actually depends on Second Life existing to get started, and that I have been thinking about almost as long as I've been thinking about Second Life. " So while we don't have the particulars, I am excited to see what this visionary has in store for us! He has a new island called 'P Squared' , which he sees as his extended space for his work place.
